Save the date for our upcoming Business Leadership Series event and learn how emerging technology, and specifically, artificial intelligence, impacts education and tomorrow’s workers. This event will feature Dr. Scott Latham of UMass-Lowell, expert on the impact of automation and AI on the workforce. Dr. Latham will be joined by representatives from area technical schools to discuss the impact of new and emerging technology on technical education.
About Dr. Latham:
Scott Latham is an expert in business strategy, startup development and organizational turnaround. He has led companies through the highs and lows of the dot-com era, worked in business development and marketing for industry giants including IBM, Hewlett-Packard and Gillette, and managed partnerships with businesses such as Oracle and SAP AG.
At UMass Lowell, Latham’s research focuses on innovation, business turbulence and organizational decline. He also consults with entrepreneurs on topics including business models, growth and strategic positioning. With the Massachusetts Medical Device Development Center (M2D2), a joint effort of the UMass Lowell and Worcester campuses, he has advised nearly 100 startups that have launched products and businesses with the center’s support.
